Introduction to Agility

6 week course $125.00
This is a new course designed to introduce dog & owner to the equipment in a fun & motivational manner.
No pressure just FUN!! Allow your dog to try every piece of equipment!
This course should be taken as a Pre-cursor to the Beginner I class.

BEGINNER I AGILITY
6 Week Foundation Course  $125

This program combines confidence building and foundation skills taught through positive shaping techniques for a better understanding and a rewarding relationship with your pet. This class is to be taken after the Intro to Agility class. Dogs & owners will continue to gain confidence on each peice of the equipment and they will begin to learn small courses. Remember HAVE FUN!!

Goals:
Open Tunnel in “C-Shape”
Handler "Pick-Ups"
Closed Tunnel with short chute (6’ long)
Tire jump at “low” height
Pause Table get on happily
Tippy Plank with legs
A-Frame with apex at 5’
Dog Walk low at 3’
Very low jumps
Dogs may move on to Beginner II when they enjoy all of these exercises!

Competition Agility Starter
6 Week Skills Course $125
This class is open only to Handlers that have started a dog in Agility in the past & now have a puppy or young dog that they are starting. This class is geared to the competitive trainers that have handling skills but just want to start their new dog "right." This class is taught by Ken Fairchild.

Intermediate Agility Class

6 Week Skills Course  $125
This program combines performance criteria and handling foundation skills through positive
shaping techniques for a better understanding.


Goals:
A-Frame at regulation height of 5’ 6” (with criteria)
Dog Walk at regulation height of 4’ (with criteria)
See-Saw at regulation height (with criteria)
Weave Poles – regulation set of 6 poles
More “Inside” and “Outside” Turns

“Front” and “Rear” Crosses

Jumps at near full height

Tire Jump at near full height
More Beyond Tolerance – Train for Demand

***You must have Good Off-Lead Control & Attention skills for this level***

Advanced Class
6 Week Skills, Sequences and Courses  $125
This program combines performance criteria, handling skills and sequence problem solving through positive shaping techniques for a better understanding.

Goals:

Contacts and maintaining your criteria
Weave Poles – regulation, entry/exit
Advanced “Inside” and “Outside” Turns
Advanced “Front” and “Rear” Crosses
“Draw-The-Path”
Jumping Drills at full height
Obstacle Discriminations
