Linda McHugh

Linda McHugh has been an obedience competitor since the late 1980’s after taking a basic pet class while living in FL with her first dog, a Dalmatian, Chelsea.  The “hobby” grew, and Chelsea earned his AKC Utility title, UKC CDX and was AKC OTCH pointed. Then the border collies came — Holly and Snap – both of them earned AKC & UKC OTCHs and Advanced Rally titles.   Linda and her dogs have earned over 250 HIT/HCs, numerous 200’s in both venues and accumulated over 2400 AKC OTCH points.   Snap (OTCH UOCH Heelalong Splittin’ Image UDX19 RA) was also the #2 All Breed dog in UKC obedience in 2003.  Linda and Snap placed in the Herding Group at the AKC invitational in 2005 and were ranked in the Top 10 All breed during her competitive years ending the last year of Snap’s career with #1 First & Foremost for 2006.  They were also members of the 2007 AKC Crufts Obedience World Team.  Linda has been an obedience judge for UKC & AKC since 1996.
